You Lurker
Today I was at Starbucks and I ran into a friend from church who I had met this summer. We chat every Sunday morning during Coffee Hour and if one of us misses then there is a chiding.
"You didn't stay for coffee last week!" I said to her, excited to see her out of the normal realm.
"You weren't here two weeks ago!!" she said, a little two quickly.
I hung my head in shame. Missing that one week as been my downfall for quite a while now.
"I know, sorry, I was on vacation."
Then, THEN, she said, "Yeah, I know, I saw on your blog."
People, she has been reading my blog since we met this summer. She has been lurking in the dark quiet corners of that blue space on the right. And I know, I KNOW, there are more of you over there.
Show your faces.

Eeeep!
That's me! And I was definitely wearing my oh-so-attractive kiwi-green Fun In The Sun church day-camp t-shirt. Oh yes, I felt very chic.
Anyway, yes, I have been lurking, shame, shame. But I always feel I must have something Brilliant and Profound to say in order to comment, and I never do. Hence today's babblings. Anyway, rest assured I've thoroughly enjoyed my lurking, and will now try to enjoy my non-lurking status. I love Washington D.C., btw!
And you have inspired me to get my own blog, so come by if you like!
I LOVE that! Did I tell you that I commented on a La Mirada cop's blog about the Starbuck's he visits and studies at, and relayed the story of you seeing another blogger there... and informed him that it's the SAME Starbuck's he was at? Well, another cop commented on his blog realizing that we are not anonmymous at all. Kinda weird at first, but then, kinda cool how we realize we're all connected!
code word: cetdoxcr - some new generation antibiotic
Did that story confuse anyone else?
There are more of us than you can possibly imagine.
The story was confusing.
Yes, SalPal's story was a) confusing (sorry, Sally) and, b) revealing.
Not only does the SalPal stalk multiple blogs, she comments actively and also gets you involved, abs.
and cops have blogs? weird.
p.s. whats the deal with code words?
First of all, "show your faces" does not mean "comment anonymously."
Second of all, play nice, kids.
I might pretend to not know who you are but I do.
How come I'm the only one who gets the story?
Play nice? Those weren't too mean, were they?
So confusing.
Sally, I understood the story.
And also, "anonymous," your post was considered mean because of you made fun of Abs' mom who posted a story that she thought her daughter would like. So stop being a jackass, grow some balls and post your name the next time you feel the need to insult someone.
P.S--we have a tracker. we know things.
